Dear Alaskan Property Owner:Property taxes are doubling every ten years. If our campaign is successful, your property tax will be reduced by about 44% (from 18 mills down to 10 mills) beginning January 2001. Assessment increases will be limited to a maximum of 2% per year and – it will reduce the bloated Anchorage Municipal Budget by 9%. It will reduce the bloated Anchorage Municipal budget by 4% IMMEDIATELY We expect our campaign to be outspent considerably by a Government Campaign using our own tax dollars against us. Labor Unions and Politicians will oppose us. Your wise and generous donation to our PAC (political action committee) will help us protect you from continuing unwanted/excessive annual property tax increases. We encourage you to seize the moment and mail a check payable to APTR or Tax Cap Yes !. There is "no maximum limit" on your donation size. Feel free to call with any questions you may have.
