Will I need a car?

It is not necessary to have a car for the training sessions. The hotel provides a round-trip shuttle service, free-of-charge, between the airport and hotel. NCMEC's training facility is approximately three blocks from the hotel. The hotel shuttle also provides transportation to and from the King Street "Metrorail" station which provides direct access into Washington, D.C. Metrorail is the public transportation system that serves the District of Columbia and many surrounding suburbs in Maryland and Virginia. Additionally the hotel is surrounded by several restaurants and shops within walking distance. If you choose to obtain a rental car, you will be responsible for any costs incurred in that rental process and parking fees.
