ACCOMMODATIONS
With such a strategic location and so much comfort you are sure to enjoy your stay at Caribbean Shores Bed & Breakfast. The downstairs suite is ideal for families and couples traveling together, especially since the games room and exercise room are adjoining this two bedroom suite.

The two downstairs bedrooms as well as the two bedroom suite are generous in size. The upstairs rooms are not quite as large, but very comfortably sized by most standards.

The sand coloured interiors blends beautifully with the local artwork and Guatemalan bedspreads used for room decor creating a colorful Caribbean atmosphere. Each room is named for a native bird, and the rooms are being hand-painted with accents of each bird which is its namesake. See individual room descriptions in "Rooms ".

Guests at the B & B will have easy access (a 2 minute walk) to their own private beach. The beach here is beautiful white sand and stretches for miles. There is excellent swimming off the beach without bothersome currents, or turtle grass underfoot.

BREAKFAST AND OTHER MEALS
A continental breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, baked goods, locally grown coffee and juice is included in the room rate. Such tasty entrees as banana pancakes, waffles, eggs any style and omelet's filled with delicious cheeses and spices are available as an option for those with big appetites!

Lunch is available, either at the B & B or packed for tours, cost is $6. Dinners are served family style and will be primarily local food such as fresh Snapper, Rice & beans with stewed pork, and Belizean style baked chicken, to name but a few of the delicious and nutritious local favorites! There will also be a bar-b-que twice weekly on the B & B's spacious covered porch which has glimpses out to the beautiful blue Caribbean Sea. Guests will have full access to fine dining and bar facilities at Jaguar Reef Lodge
(reservation required).

Caribbean Shores Bed & Breakfast Location
Located beside the Jaguar Reef Lodge, which was recently voted "one of the world's top three eco lodges" by Caribbean Travel & Life Magazine. This companion facility is close enough to be convenient, yet have its own distinct setting.

Caribbean Shores Bed & Breakfast is located in the Stann Creek District, just one (1) mile south of Hopkins Village. It is near a number of Belize's national parks, Mayan Ruins, and world famous diving and fishing.

Getting here: International flights land at Philip Goldson International Airport in Ladyville, 9 miles north of Belize City. There are no direct flights from the UK - a U.S. connection is required. From the International Airport a flight to Dangriga (15 minutes) is required to bring you within pickup distance to the B & B. We can arrange to pick you up at the International Airport and transport you to the B & B by vehicle. The transit time is approx. 2.5 hours. Inquire about charges for this service. Stops at the Belize Zoo and Blue Hole for a refreshing swim can easily be arranged.
