Department Launches New Student Web Site The U.S. Department of State launched future.state.gov, a new Web site for students that is designed to increase their understanding of international issues and events and encourage interest in Civil Service or Foreign Service careers with the State Department.
American Centers and Corners Program American book collections, maps, multimedia, and the Internet have reached cities in Russia through this program, which provides efficient grassroots connections to the United States and is becoming an important diplomatic tool.
