Metate' Canyon Ranch offers three exciting venues for your off property events and parties. All sites have spectacular views of the Coachella Valley from the Salton Sea to the Tram climbing Mt. San Jacinto, have excellent bus access, and behind each camp are miles of trails for exploration by jeep, hike or bike.

CAHUILLA INDIAN VILLAGE

Our replica of an ancient Indian Village provides a magnificent backdrop of mountains uplifted by Earth movements along the San Andreas Fault. Made by the same techniques used by the Cahuilla Indians 2000 years ago, the village is complemented by sparkling pools, a running stream bubbling from the fault line, and views of a natural palm oasis and city lights. This village is perfect for small groups, and can also accommodate groups of up to 400 guests. The lower level offers a covered eating area for up to 100 guests and a small stage, and an open area that will accommodate 200 additional guests for dinner, games or more entertainment. The upper level offers an Indian Village, stream and ponds.

OLD MINING CAMP

Desert Adventures' Old Mining Camp of the late 1800's, includes a covered eating area for 200 hundred guests, bar, large Dance Floor and Stage, Campfires with group seating, Walk-In Mine, Antique Wagons, Old Equipment, and a Cowboy Town with Assessors' Office, Hotel, Walk-Up Saloon, Bank, Livery Stable, and Lock-Up Jail. This camp is perfect for small groups, and can also accommodate groups of up to 800 guests.

STARLIGHT CANYON

This is an incredible "Ballroom in Nature". Your walls are rugged rock formations created by the San Andreas Fault, creating a ROUND ROOM that can accommodate small groups up to 300 guests. The stars are your ceiling, and Desert Adventures does the rest with colored ambient lighting on the rock walls. A perfect location for Jazz, Blues or Classical dining under the stars, or maybe even nature's discothèque.
