EKA CHEMICALS CORPORATE INCENTIVE ADVENTURE

EKA Chemicals is a top Chemicals company based in Pinetown, Durban. They approached Beach and Bush to provide a unique and exciting incentive experience for some of their valued clients. The result was a morning to remember including microlighting, go-carting, mountain biking and a fantastic English-Continental breakfast.

MICROLIGHTING AND GO-CARTING

The day started with a briefing by Sean of Beach and Bush Adventures and Dave Daniels, owner of the La Mercy Flight Park. Dave explained the basics of microlighting including interesting facts about the construction and dynamics of the microlights themselves. He then explained the route to be taken and answered some questions from a few of the guests.

After the lecture, the 'adventurous aviators' left in groups of 4 on a round-trip flight up the Dolphin Coast and Back, with an out-landing near Tongaat on the way back. Dolphins were spotted near Westbrook beach and a whale was seen by some of the flyers.

The Out-landing was staffed by Beach and Personnel who were ready for the incoming pilots and their passengers with Champagne and orange juice. After a short stop, they took off again for the airfield at La Mercy, where they landed everyone agreed that they had had a fantastic flying experience.

Between flights the group enjoyed a full continental and English breakfast and had a few beers. In addition, XUMBUG go-carts were provided on the top-class track at flight park and many of the guests proved to be proper speed merchants as they tore around the track.

After a fun day of adventure it was agreed by all that new experiences had been gained and the adrenaline had flowed.
