This year, as for the past nine years, Beryl and I are spending the summer on board the narrowboat Lorna-Ann and will be cruising over a thousand miles of rivers and canals from Wiltshire in the South to the Lancaster Canal in the North. If you are interested in our travels you can keep in touch through these pages.
The schedule for 2003 has been prepared before the voyage and at the beginning of each month I intend to add a new page of Log information describing our journey in the previous month and giving details of the locks, miles and cruising times.

| April 2002 Log | Peterborough, down the Grand Union, up the Thames, on to the Oxford Canal to Aynho. |
| May 2002 Log | Mostly at home while the boat was being repainted then a short run from Aynho to the top of the Napton locks. |
| June 2002 Log | From the Oxford Canal, through Braunston, to the GU Leicester Section, the Trent and Trent & Mersey, Caldon and Leek branches then on to Middlewich and the SU Middlewich Branch. |
| July 2002 Log | On to the Llangollen Canal then 8 days at Nantwich waiting for a new pulley for our 240 volt generator. Then back to Middlewich and on to Anderton where we went down the lift and on to the River Weaver. |
| August 2002 Log | From the Weaver up the Anderton lift then north to Preston Brook and the Bridgewater Canal. Across the Leeds & Liverpool, on to the Aire & Calder, Calder & Hebble and Huddersfield Broad Canal to the IWA National Festival. After that we went back to Leeds. |
| September 2002 Log | From the Aire & Calder, down the New Junction Canal to Bramwith, Keadby, and the River Trent to Torksey. Down to Boston and back then back up the Trent and on to the T&M; to Fradley. On to Hawksbury, Braunston and Gayton Junction where we turned on to the Northampton Branch and the River Nene. |
