All website designs, source code, specifications and/or graphics will remain the property of Dominion Web Design until payment is made in full.

Website source code remains the the copyright of Dominion Web Design but may be edited by the client for purposes of their own site unless specified differently under contract. This source code may not be resold without prior written permission from Dominion Web Design.

The Dominion Web Design Content Management System (DWcms) remains copyright of Dominion Web Design and may not be modified without prior written permission. All bug reports should be submitted to cmsbugs@dominion-web.com.

We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 if we are not paid within the stated period given on an invoice.

Intellectual Property Rights

The intellectual property rights for all web design, programming work that is carried out on behalf of a client from now on refered to as 'the client' by Dominion Web Design that requires custom programming whether it be a desktop application, web page, entire web site, macro, form designed for an off the shelf application or database schema, and any software available for purchase or download from this site remains the property of Dominion Web.

Dominion Web has the right to re-use any part of the programming code for other work in the future, unless the client has purchased the said intellectual property rights for an agreed fee.

All design elements provided by the client such as web page layout, logos, and other non programming elements remain the property of the client and no right to re-use them is passed to Dominion Web.

Source code for web design work is often provided. The client is free to modify and use the source code. Redistribution is dependent on the individual contract between the client and Dominion Web. Resale of source is prohibited unless expressly granted by contract. Should the client require that any closed source code be available to them in case Dominion Web ceasing to trade then a source code escrow with an agreed third party can be purchased for the cost of the third party charge.
