Programme 1:  Bangkok - Ayuthaya     View>> Boat Details

Day 1

Transfer from your hotel to the legendary Mekhala and sets off up-river at 03:00 p.m. Discovery of Thailand’s landmarks before sunset. Dock for overnight stay at Wat Kai Tia. Enjoy a superb candle light dinner on the deck of the Mekhala. Spend the evening sharing stories, watching movies, playing indoor games or enjoying a drink under the stars.

Day 2

Early morning traditional offerings to Buddhist monks. Leisurely breakfast on deck and a morning of sunbathing and relaxing. The Mekhala departs for Bangpa-In with a guided visit of the Summer Palace. Transfer by long-tail boat for an exhilarating 45 minutes ride to Ayuthaya. Thai Lunch at riverside restaurant. Guided visit around Ayuthaya’s ancient ruins. Return to Bangkok by air-conditioned minibus. Arrival at your hotel around 05:00 p.m.

 

Programme 2: Ayuthaya - Bangkok

Day 1

Depart by air-conditioned minibus to Ayuthaya around 08:00 a.m.. Guided visit around the ancient ruins of Ayuthaya. Thai luncheon at riverside restaurant. Transfer by long-tail boat for a 45-minute ride to Bangpa-In, guided visit of the Summer Palace. The legendary Mekhala sets off down the river around 03:00 p.m.. Dock for overnight stop at Wat Kai Tia. Enjoy the evening sharing stories, watching movies, playing indoor games or enjoying a drink under the stars.

Day 2

Early morning traditional offerings to Buddhist monks. Breakfast served on board while cruising down the river. A morning of relaxing and sunbathing on deck. Arrive in Bangkok around 11:00 a.m. and transfer to your hotel.
