Jewelry boxes and cribbage boxes are made with brass slot hinges or pin hinges that add a simple elegance to each piece. The brass insert hinges are also epoxied into the body of each box for added strength.

We always search for the most interesting woods that have high “figure” and color and then combine them in the woods of your choice. All boxes are available in combinations of different woods (we have many) or in one type.The wood selection page has pictures and origins. |

| Jewelry boxes are lined with plush black velour and then finished with a sprayed satin lacquer and a light coat of beeswax. A supply of beeswax/orange oil is provided with each box to help preserve the beauty of your new piece of functional art. |
