We saw a record attendance
at the 2002 Annual General
Meeting. It was particularly
fitting to be in Birmingham
which has been shortlisted
for the European City of
Culture bid.
There was a real feeling
of optimism with the announcement
that the Trust has reached
the remarkable milestone
of three million members
and the presentation to
our three millionth members,
the Dent family from Derby,
provided a fitting end to
the morning's business.
