Thayer's is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is located in Annandale, Minnesota. Situated in central Minnesota's "Heart of the Lakes" region, Thayer's is easy to find.... just minutes West of Minneapolis & St. Paul, about an hour and one half's drive from the Mall of America and the MSP airport, about 30 minutes South of St. Cloud, Minnesota on MN State Hwy 55.
Gus & Caroline Thayer built Thayer's in 1895 with help from the Soo line railroad. Annandale, Minnesota has been the place to recreate since the early 1900's and still offers beautiful lakes, golfing, swimming, hiking, birding in Lake Maria State Park and for antique lovers, a vast assortment of antique shops are available close by.
