The Office of Children's
Issues handles only international parental child abduction and international
adoption matters. Child Protection Services (child support enforcement,
child abuse and neglect, child abandonment, runaways child exploitation,
etc.) are the responsibility of the Office of American Citizens Services
and Crisis Management.
