Employees in the Bureau of Oceans and International and Environmental and Scientific Affairs   (OES) began their Partners in Education program to celebrate Earth Day through community service. During the past year, OES staffers taught about 350 students in Washington, D.C., emphasing that global issues have local implications. [see State Magazine, p. 6, for full story]
