This site was designed and built by:

Creative Lead: Paul Boag Headscape
Senior Designer: Becky Gray BeckyGray.com
Project Manager: Marcus Lillington Headscape
Editorial: Jackie Farrow

The site is managed by Systematic Marketing, who provide the database solutions for the online shop, places to visit, bookshop, donations and Livebase systems.

Initial strategic guidance was provided by CMG's telecoms and ebusiness division, as part of a project directed by Michael Taylor, the Trust's then Director of Marketing and Communications.

Internet connectivity is supplied by XO Communications.

All photographs used within the main National Trust web site are linked to a credits box that displays the photographer's name, copyright information, a short caption and a reference number for that individual picture, if one is available. Virtually all the pictures are from the National Trust Photolibrary.

Within the National Trust, so many generous and able people have contributed to the site's development and implementation that it would be impossible to list everyone...except to say that an enormous debt of gratitude is owed to all concerned.

Overall project management was by Alex Youel, the Trust's Head of Customer Care, supported for the whole programme by new media consultant Edward Leigh.
