The Project Partnership Board,the body representing all the project partners responsible for the policy and overall management of the project at the highest level, will soon have its first meeting. This is due to be held late January.
British Waterways have appointed experienced senior manager Andrew Stumpf to be Regeneration Programme Manager for the schemes to restore the Cotswold canals and build the B&MK.; Andrew comes hotfoot from restoring canals in Scotland and seeing the benefits that the Millennium Link up there is bringing to the area. Meanwhile, BW are planning formal consultations throughout the spring, in the hope that a route will be selected by May 2002.
