1.         Introduction.

While the daily visitor rate to the web site has shown a big increase in 12 months, (See the statistics below), a much higher rate of daily visitors is required to bring regular overseas bookings to our Hosts.

To achieve this higher rate we require more Host’s Home Pages than we presently have. 

We plan to make a number of special promotional visits to different parts of Australia this year to gain more Hosts. 

Our Aim is to double the number of Hosts by November 2004.  More on this as we progress through the year.

It is worth noting that our much larger and longer established (1997), NZ site www.nzhomestay.co.nz achieves over 550 visitors a day and that since the new booking system was introduced in NZ in August 2003, bookings have been received by 82% of our NZ Hosts from 24 different countries.
