Sat.7th June '03, 4.51 pm et: As you may have heard thru the ads, changes have been implemented at L365 since June 1st 2003. Don't Panic. These changes are caps as to the amount of simultaneous listeners a station may have. These caps are different depending on the broadcasting package the broadcaster decides to pay for. SocaNation 2 had a much higher cap than SN 1. SN2 may hit this limit a few times a week M-F between 11am-5pm et. If either station becomes filled a listener logging in will be informed that presently all listening slots are taken, to try again later or the subscribe to the preferred membership (PM). PMs are not affected by the caps,can always log in, get no ads or popups. If the PM listener indicates SN as their favorite station, SN gets a small cut off the monies paid for the PM, which helps offset the costs of running both stations There is a link to the PM subscription on socanation.com. Currently SN2 has 246 "favorites" with 8 as PMs. SocaNation Radio thank all listeners especially the ones that are paying thru PMs.
