Join the Trust

The key purpose of the Trust is to promote the development of a Bedford & Milton Keynes Waterway which will improve the local environment and the local economy, and provide new leisure opportunities.

The Trust was founded in 1994 and you can find out more about its beginings by reading A Brief History of the Trust. Creation of 10 Local Groups of the Trust

As time goes by we hope to create 10 Local Groups of the Trust, each covering approx 2km of the chosen Waterway route. The Local Groups will have a remit to build local awareness and support, and provide a focus for local involvement. The Branches will be:-
