Extending this taxiway is necessary to accommodate peak hour aircraft departures from Runway 25R without blocking access to the D Gate ramp. Concurrently, Taxiway B will be reconstructed.

This project is designed to relocate the existing rental car facilities into a common use facility outside of the primary airport environment. The benefits are more direct access to the area roadways for rental car patrons and reduced congestion on the airport roadways and curbs. Construction is expected to begin in 2004.
Henderson Executive Airport Tower & Terminal
A new terminal and air traffic control tower will be needed to serve the updated facility and accommodate the anticipated tenants for the terminal. Conceptual design is underway.
This project will create additional gate capacity for the airport in response to increasing demand. The project includes additional ramp for aircraft movement and 10 new gates.
This is an on-going project designed to update the appearance and improve the maintainability for the facilities.
A and B Gates Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) System Rehabilitation Phase 1 and Phase 2
This rehabilitation will serve to modernize and improve the HVAC in the A and B gates, resulting in decreased energy costs.
A new facility will be constructed between Spencer and Eastern on Russell and the existing facility will be removed to make land available for Terminal 3-related construction.
The existing bag screening facilities in the ticketing lobby of the main terminal are a temporary measure. The Bag Screening facilities will be constructed behind the ticketing area, allowing more space for passenger ticketing and queue lines.
This project will accommodate future General Aviation and related business development on the east side of the airport.
The existing passenger queue area will be expanded over the top of a portion of the South Baggage Claim area in order to better accommodate passenger queues during peak hours.
This project will install plasma screen monitors with speakers at security checkpoint queue areas for A, B, C, D, and Terminal 2 Gates. The system will display security-related information, news, and weather reports for airport patrons.
An exterior sterile corridor is being constructed at Terminal 2 connecting Gate 4 with the existing corridor at Gate 3 to better accommodate the needs of international flights during peak hours.
The ticketing counters at terminal two will be replaced and reconfigured to match Terminal 1 colors and design, and to allow for additional ticket agent positions.
