Kenai River Professional
Guide Association

The Kenai River Professional Guide Association is an organization devoted to protecting and preserving our national treasure: the Kenai River. Our primary goal is to foster responsible and sustainable sport fishing opportunity while promoting habitat protection and pro-active management of Kenai Peninsula sport fisheries.

We support and represent the guided Sportfishing industry on the Kenai River, one of the largest body of guides in the entire state. Our goals include protecting the resource and supporting responsible and ethical guided fishing on the Kenai Peninsula. Our members include the most caring and involved segment of our local Sportfishing community. We care very much about the Kenai River and surrounding waters and wish to preserve this important natural resource for future generations.

We hope you enjoy our website and if you are planning to visit Alaska and the Kenai River we hope you will support our members when selecting a guide. In addition to a current list of Professional KRPGA guides, we also have a list of Associate Members. These are important local and national businesses that have shown their commitment to the river and our organization. Please give them special consideration when planning your trip and while visiting Alaska.

Thank you for your interest and we'll see you on the river!

Please see the Announcements page for more important meeting dates and information where you can get a copy of the Boat Wake Study.
