Global Partnership for NGO Studies, Education
and Training
The Global Partnership (GP), is a collaboration of BRAC in Bangladesh
and the School for International Training (SIT) in the United States.
GP offers a Postgraduate Diploma in NGO Leadership and Management and
a corresponding master's degree
that provide rigorous and relevant coursework in NGO leadership and
management.
Master of Arts in Sustainable
Development
Preparation for careers with organizations dedicated to an equitable
sharing and sustainable use of the world's wealth and natural resources.
Master of Science in Organizational
Management
Preparation for management careers in nonprofit organizations and in
a wide variety of other organizational contexts.
Master's Community Development
Program with AmeriCorps*VISTA
Take advantage of SIT's unique partnership with AmeriCorps*VISTA by
applying a one- year, full-time VISTA placement toward the fulfillment
of the professional practicum requirement for an SIT master's degree
in Conflict Transformation, Sustainable Development, International Education,
Social Justice in Intercultural Relations, Organizational Management,
or the self-designed degree in Intercultural Service, Leadership, and
Management.
Peace Corps Master's International Program
Complete SIT's practicum requirement by serving overseas in a two-year
Peace Corps assignment. This unique partnership is available to students
earning an SIT master's degree in Teaching,
Conflict Transformation, International
Education, Social Justice in
Intercultural Relations, Sustainable
Development, Organizational Management,
or the self-designed degree in Intercultural
Service, Leadership, and Management.

Southeast Asia Fellows (SAF)
The SAF program addresses the education and training needs of development
professionals in Southeast Asia. Participants may be members of an international
NGO, a community-based and -focused organization, or other groups concerned
with regional sustainable development. They will develop knowledge and
skills in such areas as intercultural training, teambuilding, strategic
planning, conflict transformation, human resource management, fund development,
media advocacy, and issues of gender in development.
