World Learning's mission and values can best be advanced in a public policy environment that supports intercultural understanding, international education and training, and social and economic development in poorer nations. While not fundamentally an advocacy organization, World Learning is an active member of several coalitions of like-minded non-governmental groups that take an active role in educating and advising policymakers on international funding and programs.
