Web Copywriting
The writing of text especially for a web page. Similar to the writing of copy for any other type of publication, good web copywriting can have a great effect on search engine positioning, so it forms a major part of optimization.

Web Mail
The ability to access your email by using an Internet web browser in addition to access with an email program. With web mail, you can access your email account from any computer, anywhere in the world at any time. Our Web Mail hosting feature also gives you the capability to store an address book, create mail lists, change your password immediately, and set up your own viewing preferences. A special administration mode allows you or your web manager to create, delete, or modify email accounts instantly.

Web Page
A single page written in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), stored on a server. Unlike a regular page in a word processing document, a web page does not have graphics embedded: rather, they are linked. A web page usually has links to other web pages. Each web page has its own address called a Uniform Resource Locator (URL).

Web Site
Collection of web pages that are linked together and that exist on the Web at a particular Web server. Exploring a Web site usually begins with a home page, which then leads you to the other resources on the Web site, but also to resources on other Web sites. Each web site has an unique Uniform Resource Locator (URL).

Web Statistics
This is graphical information tracking visitors to your site, including the amount of hits your web site is receiving, where the visitors are coming from, what platform they are using, what browser they are using, how long they spent on a page, and usually it rates your most popular pages.

Web statistics available with our hosting packages:

  • Analog - produces a simple summary of all the people who have visited your site. It is fast and provides great lightweight statistics.
  • Webalizer - this is probably the most popular stats engine available today.
  • PPHLogger - is a more complex stats program that produces a nice variety of charts and graphs about who has visited your site.
  • Subdomain Stats - this will show statistics for the subdomains on your account.
  • Latest Visitors - this will show you the last 300 visitors who came to your site and some interesting information about them.
  • Bandwidth - this will show how many bytes your account has transferred.
  • Error Log - this will show errors in your site, images not loading, missing files, etc. This is very useful for debugging CGI scripts.
