Light snow will linger over much of the Ohio Valley and Appalachians overnight. Fresh powder will blanket the northern and central Rockies.

Wintry precipitation will slowly come to an end in the Northeast as the low pressure area responsible for the messy weather heads out into the Atlantic. Cold air is following the storm and will keep it chilly from the Midwest to the South today into Sunday. A pair of disturbances in the cold air will allow some snow showers and flurries from the Ohio Valley to the Appalachians today and tonight. The central to southern Appalachians will several inches of snow into Sunday morning.
