I forgot to mention something about my first day here. When we got off the plane there was this huge line of people waiting for us. The first person in line was wearing a big Panthers helmet hat and Panthers clothing. They told me that he had been there since two o'clock in the morning waiting for the Panthers players and myself to get there so that we could sign some things for him. He is a native Charlottean named Roger Leak. He's in the military stationed in Hawaii and is apparently our biggest fan here.
Thursday morning I got up at 5:30 to do an interview with my line for one of the morning shows here in town. My line is the group that I will be cheering with at the Pro Bowl. It consists of Lisa from the Falcons, Amy from the Seahawks, Brooke from the Cardinals, Amy from the Rams, Jeanine from the Redskins, and myself. We got to do that morning show and then we had a rehearsal until about 11:30. They gave us some free time yesterday so I got to hang out on the beach and do a little bit of shopping, too. It was so beautiful outside.
Last night we went to a welcome luau for the NFL. They had everyone there from the Pro Bowl. We got to watch an exciting show with hula dancers and fire and some great food. It was a great time for us girls. We really got a chance to get to know each other even better.
Today we have an exciting day planned. We're going out for breakfast and then I'm going to do some appearances. We're going to be teaching an NFL clinic to some people from Japan, and then I'll be heading out to a fitness facility here to do an appearance.
I look forward to wrapping up my visit here for you fans after the weekend.
Aloha, Panthers fans!
