Our headquarters and operations centre have transferred to Exeter, Devon.

The National Meteorological Archive remains open to the public in Bracknell until its scheduled move to Exeter in autumn 2004.

Where to stay in Bracknell

By rail

From Reading with a journey time around 20 minutes or from London Waterloo with a journey time about 60 minutes. Details from South West Trains train timetables, select timetable 02. Bracknell railway station is 15 minutes walk from the National Met Archive.

By road

Bracknell is midway between the M4 and M3 motorways, seven miles north of Camberley and 12 miles east of Reading. The Scott building archive is accessed via Eastern Road, off London Road (A329) - see map.

Space may be reserved for visitors' cars at Scott Building by prior arrangement with the Archive Manager.

By bus from Heathrow
