As winemakers in British Columbia continue to perfect the art of winemaking. The number of grape varieties grown in the province has grown to forty five. Most winemakers will tell you the most important part of producing wine is the growing of the grapes. Wines of Canada has listed the various grapes grown in the Province and will provide a brief description.

Wines of Canada would like to thank John Schreiner for allowing us to use his new book Chardonnay and Friends as our reference guide.
