Partner Services and Operations is seeking a Technical Account Manager to
successfully manage and support Google's services to newly engaged and existing
European partners. This person is responsible for enabling the smooth partner
transition from pre-sales to post-sales by ensuring timely deployments of
Google's contracted services on partner sites. The Technical Account Manager is
also the primary technical support contact for partners beyond the launch and
will provide hands-on troubleshooting for all 24x7 escalations. This person
will work in the Google's UK office and train at the Mountain View campus in
the U.S. for at least three months.
Ideal candidates must have a proven track record of successfully deploying and
supporting a large portfolio of partners. In addition, this person should
possess good project management, presentation and technical troubleshooting
skills. The candidate must respond to all requests in an orderly and timely
manner. Additional requirements include:
- BA/BS Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3+ years experience with Internet/software industry.
- Must speak and write fluent English and German.
- Solid computer applications skills as well as web programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience in XML, HTML, Internet protocols, as well as scripting languages.
- Basic UNIX/Linux systems administration knowledge.
