Daypack Versatility

This page demonstrates an alternate method of attaching the daypack when fully expanded, and we demonstrate how to wear the travel pack daypack as a shoulder bag. An alternate method to wearing the daypack across the chest.

Alternate Daypack Attachment!

If the daypack is to be attached fully expanded, we recommend using the D-Ring Attachment Straps on the Daypack. Simply attach these to the D-Rings on top of the Travel Pack and attach the lower compression straps to the daypack as usual, see image. This method of attachment when confronted with a fully loaded daypack will prevent damage to the daypack attachment zip.

A Shoulder Bag!

The removable daypack on all White Mountain™ travel packs can be attached to form a shoulder bag. An alternative and sometimes preferable method to supporting the daypack on the front of the chest.

We use the existing lower compression strap on the base of the travel pack to support the bottom of the daypack. This compression strap is pulling from above the attachment point on the daypack, alleviating excess stress on the shoulder.
