Ted's
Photos
Ted is a long time friend of mine,
one I do not see that often anymore, but he is often in my
thoughts. He's one of the few people I know who fish in as many
ways as I do for striped bass, there are but a handful of us who
refuse to "pick one" method and just do it. On the day
these pictures were taken, we trolled jigs on wire line, fly
fished with deep sinking lines, flipped light jigs on bait
casting rods, and even fished live eels in the dark. We caught
fish with each method that day. Ted is a good friend who I miss,
he loves to share the joys of fishing!
Ted with some of the fish we caught
wire line trolling jigs from his boat a couple years ago.
Man, when they whack that jig on the wire, it's enough to
spin you right around on your feet! To the right, Teddie
is locked in mortal combat, I think it was with the fish
pictured at the upper left. A good day on the water!
