We never release your personal details to companies outside the National Trust for marketing purposes.

We will treat all your Personal Information as confidential (although we reserve the right to disclose this information in the circumstances set out below). We will keep it on a secure server and we will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation.

When you shop on this Web site, we will ask you to input Personal Information such as your name, telephone number, email address, billing address, delivery address, product selections, credit card or other payment information. This information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

The National Trust Online Shop operates an 'Opt-in' policy and we will not use your personal data without your express permission. Your Personal Information may be disclosed to other businesses within the National Trust Organisation and to those reputable third parties who will help process your order. The National Trust requires all such third parties to treat your Personal Information as fully confidential and to fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation. We will not release your Personal Information to any company outside of the National Trust for mailing or marketing purposes.

You should be aware that if we are requested by the police, or any other regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities, to provide your Personal Information and /or User Information we are entitled do so.
