Submitting a Grant Proposal @ ETSU Research Compliance Intellectual Property & Tech Transfer

The Human Research Protections Program (HRPP) administers the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the ETSU main campus and the IRB for the James H. Quillen College of Medicine. The Human Research Protections Program ensures institutional compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ordinances pertaining to the use of human subjects in research. Staff: Pat Myrick, Director, Human Research Protections Program Cathy Shuttle, IRB Coordinator Sharron Livingston, IRB Secretary The mission of the Office of Radiation Safety is to assist in fulfilling ETSU's commitment to provide a safe and healthy environment for employment and learning. Protection of employees, students, the public, the environment, and university property and operations are paramount. Every attempt is made to ensure that our facilities are as free as possible from recognized radiation hazards. Staff: Steve Anderson, Director, Radiation Safety Program Secretary, Vacant The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs Administration administers grant proposals, grant awards and contracts awarded to ETSU for research and sponsored programs. We also provide outreach services to the university community which includes providing workshops on grant and research-related topics and communicating funding opportunities information. In addition, we administer the ETSU Research Development Committee grants and the ETSU Student Research Forum.
