Mail Settings Check
We've recently added some additional mail servers to increase
capacity. These servers are dedicated to sending mail
(SMTP) and don't answer pop requests. If you are configured to use
"mail.alaska.net" as your
incoming mail server, you will need to change it to "pop.alaska.net"
to get your mail. Please note: If you're getting your email
without problems, you're OK. If not, see our e-mail settings page for instructions.
Important Internet Tune-Up
Please make sure you're using Internet Alaska's current DNS numbers to keep your system on-line and trouble free.
Recent Spam-Reduction Efforts
ACS Internet recently started using the Open Relay Database (ORDB) which means our customers will receive less unsolicited e-mail (commonly referred to as "spam"). ORDB keeps track of possible spam sources and blocks many of them. Please let us know how it's working for you. If you would like more information about spam, please see our spam policy.
