IBACOS Technical Team Internship

IBACOS Technical Team Internship

Term: Internship running June – August of 2004.

Pay rate is $10 - 11.00 per hour (depending on experience), at a maximum of 40 hours per week.

Description: The IBACOS Technical Team Internship will provide support to the Technical Teams in the investigation, analysis, design and integration of residential building systems. The position will provide support to data acquisition and analysis, building system and energy modeling, analyzing and preparing residential drawings, and field studies. Additionally, the position will assist in the development of design and construction details, provide in the field support to testing and monitoring activities, and perform technical and market research related to a diverse array of residential topics.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Working on a Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Science or a related technical discipline
  • Some experience with residential construction (field experience with builders and trade contractors) a plus
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

BuildIQ Marketing/Communications Internship

Term: Internship running June – August of 2004.

Pay rate is $10 - 11.00 per hour (depending on experience), at a maximum of 40 hours per week.

Description: BuildIQ (IBACOS’ sister company) is seeking an undergraduate student for a full-time marketing/communications internship for summer 2004. Tasks may include taking and cataloguing photos, developing a marketing database, and assisting in various market research efforts. Additional tasks may include editing, proofreading, formatting, and some content development of course and marketing material. For more information about BuildIQ, visit www.buildiq.com.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Working on a Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
  • Strong computer skills (MS and Adobe applications) are required
  • Experience working with a marketing/communications team a plus
  • Web development and any experience with residential construction is a plus
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
