The Islamorada Fish Company has become quite the hot
spot for tourist since the World Wide Sportsman (next door) got involved. It
was a great spot to eat and still is if you don't mind the crowds
(in season) and of course the prices went up. It still retained a
lot of its charm and you still eat outside right on the Bay front. I'm
happy for their success but miss the old restaurant and fish market.

Although we have never been, the word on the street
is that this may be the best restaurant in Islamorada. If you have
saved for your vacation and find your pockets bulging - go for it. |

York Times (that was a while back but it still has great French
cuisine). Fresh local seafood, classical continental cuisine and
an excellent wine list. A long time favorite of French cuisine lover's.
A long
standing reputation for great food, great service, large bill. The
tip can be more that what I spend of dinner. |

What it lacks in atmosphere, it more than makes up
for in really good Italian food and lots of it. The owner, Carlos
and the staff are great people and make dining at their restaurant
a pleasure. We go about once a month. Great specials, take out and
delivery available. |
