It doesn't hurt to let your parents or guardians know what you're doing. In fact, you might find that once
they realise you know how to act responsibly, they'll be a lot happier about your surfing the internet. ICRA
have a Family Internet Online Safety Contract you can print out, so that you and your parents can let each
other know what's expected and what's not. Click here for a copy.
Remember: You have a right to feel safe and to be safe on the Internet!
These tips were the result of extensive research and a report produced by
Childnet International and
Fleishman Hillard as part of a
EC funded research study.
Our sincere thanks to Childnet International for their permission to reproduce them here.
