About
Us
True North Kayak Adventures was established in 1992, making
it one of the oldest and most respected sea kayak outfits on the
Kenai Penninsula. It is the only company in Homer dedicated solely
to kayaking.
Alison
O'Hara and Kevin Bell are the owners of True North. They founded
the company because of their love of kayaking and guide most of
the trips. Both have over 15
years paddling experience and
educational backgrounds in environmental studies and U.S. Coast
Guard captain's licenses.
During
the summer Kevin and Alison are joined by a professional and enthusiastic
team of local guides: Aasta, David, Jen and Jazz. All are local
residents, have a love of the outdoors and a desire to share their
neck of the woods.
