IBACOS uses Systems Integration as the fundamental approach to the design, engineering and construction of higher quality homes. We understand fundamental residential construction systems and processes, as well as the attributes of higher home performance, their interdependencies, and their impact on design, construction and ownership.

As technology in the homebuilding industry is advanced, new issues arise that can impact a home's performance, and appropriate solutions must be developed.

Example: Air-tightening a home increases its energy efficiency, however it also allows for little natural air infiltration. This problem necessitates mechanical ventilation systems - but adding ventilation without careful consideration can increase energy use and decrease comfort. IBACOS works to develop effective ventilation strategies that address health, comfort, and efficiency.
