Soldotna Chamber of Commerce April 4, 2004 Harald I have been to Soldotna 9 times. In July I will come back, again. I will bring my gril-friend with me to show her the state and city i love. I found great friends there...... March 3, 2004 Don & Marty Stover
My Air Force buddy from the early 60's just called
me from Soldotna. We had not communicated since
1967. What a great surprise and how wonderful it
is to know friendships can last so long. We are now excited
about visiting your town, Don (are you looking?)and Carolyn in the
future. Your
photo album has made us even more anxious. Thank you for sharing your
beautiful piece of the U.S. with us.

I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN ALASKA BUT MOVED TO SOLDOTNA WHEN I
WAS A TEEN. I LOVE IT HERE AND DON'T EVER WANT TO LEAVE, IT HAS
BEEN A GREAT PLACE TO RAISE MY FAMILY AND IT IS
SO BEAUTIFUL HERE. THIS IS A GREAT WEB SITE,
THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO VOICE MY THOUGHTS.
February 13, 2004 Callie Hastings After leaving Soldotna 2000 I was so glad to get out of there. I guess growing up there you think that it is just the one place that you want out of when you get old enough to go out on your own. I have lived all over the US in the last four years, and I have come to realize one thing. No matter what, Soldotna is home, and always will be home. I have been off the coast of Brazil and even with the beautiful horizon, I found myself thinking back on Soldotna. Now I am clear across the country and I find myself getting more and more homesick every day. I really like the site, it brings a little bit of home back to me :) January 19, 2004 Kevin Ahern My wife told me about your web site, I loved the photo gallery. I grew up on the ocean in Boston an avid fisherman. I now live in Michigan and am an avid hunter as well as fishing, my dream is to come to Alaska to do both. Your web site has just reinforced my desire to go. Monday, November 18, 2003 Lucy
Hotchkiss and Family Our family discovered the Kenai Peninsula in 1983, the first year we moved to Alaska. In 1999 we moved to the Soldonta area and have a great life. We would like to say thanks to the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce and the great work they do promoting our side of the world. I have never gone outside Alaska in the summer! Life is too beautiful on the Inlet and Rivers to ever spend summer in any other state. Run Reds run. Lucy Hotchkiss and Family - Kasilof, Alaska Thursday, September 11, 2003

called Alaska. I stayed here in 1996 and 1997 and spent a wonderful time at Skip
