More Great Benefits for Platinum Elite Members

WorldPerks^® recently announced some exciting program changes specifically designed to enhance our Platinum Elite tier. The changes include the following:

• Platinum Companion Upgrade – Platinum Elite members who are traveling on domestic itineraries may have one companion, who is booked for travel on the same reservation , be upgraded to first class at the same time the Platinum member is upgraded. Platinum Elite members and their companions traveling on full coach fares will be eligible for these upgrades at the time their reservation is made.
• Platinum Guaranteed World Business Class Confirmed Reservation -- Platinum Elite members must now make their World Business Class reservations seven days in advance of the planned travel date to request and receive guaranteed confirmed reservations in World Business Class. Previously, these reservations could be made within 48 hours of travel. Because of the popularity of World Business ClassSM the 48 hour period did not provide sufficient time to properly fulfill members’ requests for confirmed reservations.

In addition, in 2004, WorldPerks is offering some special new promotions designed specifically for our Platinum Elite members:

• Platinum Points – This promotion (ending February 28, 2005) awards additional Platinum Points to Platinum members for qualifying activities. Each time a member reaches a Platinum Points reward threshold, the customer can choose a reward. Rewards include valuable items such as additional Bonus Miles, confirmed upgrades, and discounted WorldPerks travel awards. • Platinum Confirmed Upgrade Guarantee – Platinum Elite members traveling on domestic Northwest Airlines flights will receive 1,000 Bonus Miles for any paid flight segment for which they are eligible to claim WorldPerks miles and are not seated in first class. This promotion also ends February 28, 2005.
