our overall plan of work is concentrated on economic development
in Bridgeport, I work closely with the public sector to
help move that agenda forward.

interact with all the affiliates and to work closely with
the entire staff. My special focus is on the Leadership
Greater Bridgeport program. Frequently, I represent BRBC

work with the BEDCO Board of Directors to develop industrial
and commercial expansion projects. I also work with the
City of Bridgeport, the State of Connecticut and private
lenders to raise the funds necessary to assemble
land and build projects.

I help our
members market their products and services to our network
of members. We have an array of vehicles, from year-long
advertising placements to monthly business-card ads in IMPACT.
Or, members can sponsor a program that gives them an opportunity
for direct business community involvement. I help members
with
medical insurance needs, events like Business Showcase and
new memberships.

primary focus is to assist our member businesses grow
their business in Stratford. I work with the board of
directors of the Stratford Chamber to execute our work
plan which targets economic and business development.
I work closely with Stratford's departments of economic
development, planning and zoning and am fortunate to have
many connections to the human service agencies in town.

neighborhoods by making it easier for businesses to physically

Specialist, I am responsible for ensuring that our membership
is well informed and provided with an assortment of opportunities
to promote their business. We do this through a variety
of vehicles, including monthly newsletters, a full-scale
Members Guide and Resource Directory, press releases and
special publications like On Base. I also handle media
relations.
