Returns
We hope you are satisfied with any product purchased from our Online Shop. However, if you wish to return an item to us we have made the returns process as simple as possible. Any item may be returned for any reason within 28 days of the date of despatch, as long as it remains in a saleable condition.
Please note that, with the exception of faulty merchandise, we cannot accept the return of certain items which have been opened and used, for example CDs or other recording media, toiletries and perishable goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Inside your parcel, you will find a delivery note with details of your order. You will also find a returns note detailing how to return an item to us.
If you wish to return an item delivered within the UK please use the returns note provided and return to the address below. (We advise you to obtain a proof of posting note from the Post Office as the National Trust cannot be held responsible for any items not received by our warehouse):

As soon as we have received the return and checked the items, we will initiate a refund. The account that was originally debited will be credited for the cost of the goods within 48 hours of receipt of the item. This will usually reach the account within 7 working days, timings will however, depend on the speed with which your credit/debit card company process the credit.
You have the right to cancel an order within seven working days starting from the day after the goods have been received by you the customer. Please see the 'Cancelling
an Order' section of this website.
If you wish to return an item which was given to you as a gift, please be aware that the money will be refunded to the original payment card. Alternatively you can take the item to your nearest National Trust shop where we will be happy to offer an exchange or gift vouchers (so long as it remains in a saleable condition). Please note: that our retail shops can't accept any print returns as these are only available for sale through the online shop.
Checklist
Please ensure you have followed ALL the points below to minimise any delay in dealing with your returned item(s):
- please endeavour to return the goods in the original packaging,
- please write the quantity of the items you are returning in the appropriate column on the dispatch note, and
- please include the completed Returns Section of the Returns Note in the package you are returning to us.
