Beauty & the Beast Mountain Bike Race and Festival

Interested in tearing down the mountain at warp speeds? Enjoy the exhilarating rush of peeling caked mud off of your forehead? That means you’re probably a mountain biker. Well whether you are a biker or just an interested onlooker, you’ll want to check out the Beauty and the Beast Mountain Bike Race and Festival over July 28 and 29, 2001 in Killington, Vermont. The Beauty and the Beast Festival includes a jam packed mountain bike race as well as a family festival! Saturday includes dual slalom, downhill training, great music and sizzling barbeques! If you're not racing, you’ll still want to watch the thrilling dual slalom or visit the adventure center! Here you'll find water slides, a climbing wall, mountain boarding, a hiking center a skate park and more! Catch the action on Sunday with the downhill in the morning followed by the cross country in the afternoon. Beauty and the Beast is part of the NORBA Junior Olympic Mountain Bike Series.
