Watch beautiful BC West Coast sunsets over the water from the comfort of Singing Sands B&B's sundeck, or take a stroll along the waterfront and explore miles of shoreline. Beachcasting for salmon passes the time peacefully and often reaps great rewards. Beachcombing and wildlife viewing are also both right at hand, and you're almost certain to see the bald eagles, sea lions, seals, otters and ospreys which abound in the area. 
The neighbouring communities of Comox and Courtenay offer the attraction and tranquility of small towns everywhere, but the Comox Valley area of BC has also gained a world-class reputation for its recreation opportunties.  Launch your boat or kayak and explore the bays and inlets of Georgia Strait. Go scuba diving and swim amongst some of the most diverse marine life anywhere.

Ski through the winter at nearby Mount Washington and sink into a soothing hot tub under the stars after an exhilarating day skiing powder-packed runs. Hike the trails of Forbidden Plateau or seek out backcountry and mountain adventure in Strathcona Provincial Park all year long.

Singing Sands Bed and Breakfast offers free pick-up from both the Comox BC Ferries Little River terminal  (for guests arriving from Powell River on the BC Mainland's Sunshine Coast) and the Comox airport, and Gail and Mark can transport skiers to town to get the shuttle bus to ski slopes at Mt. Washington.

Special fly fishing offer for guests staying at Singing Sands B&B

Mark has over 25 years experience of fly fishing and fly tying and is happy to share his knowledge with guests. Weather permitting, he will take guests to the beach for a two hour fly casting lesson (all equipment provided) for a nominal fee of  CA$30. At certain times of the year there is a good chance of catching a salmon or two. If required he can instruct guests in the art of fly tying (all materials provided for CA$20 lesson).
