Description: IBACOS is seeking an Administrative & Customer Coordinator to provide support to all IBACOS functional groups, and to our sister company, BuildIQ. The position will report to the IBACOS Business Manager, but will be responsible for working independently and directly with company partners and team members.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling dates with clients for consulting activities, and coordinating travel/logistics
- Assisting Finance/Operations Department in data entry, time management, and filing
- Coordinating HR activities, including employee reviews, employee events, and associated paperwork
- Maintaining all calendars and managing conference & presentation schedules
- Performing administrative needs for Board and other company meetings
- Ensuring the professional appearance of our facilities
- Coordinating schedules for company partners
Required Skills / Experience:
- Strong professional presence and confidence in dealing with internal and external customers
- Strong computer skills are required (MS Office proficiency required and the ability to pick up new computer skills quickly)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Research Project Manager

Reporting Relationships: Reports to the Research Dept. Manager
Overview: The Research Project Manager (RPM) is a member of the IBACOS technical staff with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in relevant technical roles. The RPM’s work focuses on the management of complex building science projects.
Primary Job Duties
- Provide end-to-end accountability for complex building science projects.
- Actively engage in research projects, utilizing experience and capability to individually complete or coordinate resources to accomplish technical responsibilities
- Provide leadership, daily management / mentoring and support for all IBACOS resources engaged in the project(s) for which the RPM is responsible.
- Provide management oversight and support for all non-IBACOS resources engaged in the project(s) for which the RPM is responsible (including contractors, clients and vendors).
- Provide technical guidance on building science issues to all resources engaged in the project(s) for which the RPM is responsible.
- Provide reports and frequent assessments of project related activities to IBACOS senior management
- Develop, support and sustain long term relationships with IBACOS technical staff, clients, contractors and vendors
- Deliver projects on time and on budget
- Production of deliverables, reports and products associated with assigned projects
Secondary Job Duties
- Assess building science analysis and design processes, workflows etc. and software based building science analysis tools
- Support the performance review process by assisting senior management in evaluating IBACOS technical staff and offering recommendations for relevant training and professional development

- Presentation of findings at industry conferences and in technical journals and publications
Required Skills / Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Work record demonstrating applied technical knowledge and results
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in a building science and / or residential architecture environment
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as project manager / leader
- Expert level knowledge of accepted project management methodologies and best practices
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated team leadership capabilities
