TAILWAGGERS TOO - Doggie Day Pet Hotel
Lyn Dunlap is a professional dog trainer and behaviorist. A few
years
ago she graduated from the "Harvard" of dog training institutes,
the San Francisco SPCA Academy of Dog Trainers. Following that experience,
she finally decided to find a way to earn a living in the business
of caring for and training dogs. Lyn has lived in the Bishop, Mammoth
Lakes area since 1979, having moved here from The San Francisco
Bay Area. She knew from years of searching that it would be difficult
to find a place to open the facility she always wanted. Unable to
find a venue to open a doggie day care center, she settled for opening
Tailwaggers,
a doggie bakery and boutique. Tailwaggers is a wonderful source
of natural dog treats, pet supplies and even has a self serve dog
washing area. It has become the hub in Mammoth to bring your dogs
for treats, baths, supplies or just hang out.
After three years, Lyn and Dan Genet, who was a frequent customer
of Tailwaggers, finally found the perfect venue for the doggie day
care center she always wanted to open. Dan Genet is an avid skier
and biker. He moved to Mammoth many years ago with his dog Kula
so he could be in the area he and Kula love. Dan is also a genuine
dog lover and after spending much time talking with Lyn about her
dreams, he decided to team up with her and open Tailwaggers
Too. Dogs rule at Tailwaggers Too and Dan and Lyn are more than
comfortable with that. Give them a call next time you want to bring
your pet to Mammoth
