overnight, affecting N Ireland,
Scotland, parts of N England, N Wales
and the N Midlands. Some persistent
rain likely. Elsewhere, dry with clear
spells, especially at first.

southern parts, where it should be
mainly dry. Elsewhere, a lot of cloud
with outbreaks of rain or drizzle
likely at times, especially central
areas. Brighter in N Scotland later.
Friday
A lot of cloud at first but it should
brighten up with some warm sunshine,
the best of this in southern parts.
Perhaps a few showers, mainly across
the Midlands. Patchy rain reaching N
Ireland and W Scotland later.
