Posters can make a big difference. Ask for permission from the owner and then hang them in fast-food restaurants, coffee shops, libraries, grocery and convenience stores, the local malls, kiosks in the park, bus stops, and near bike racks. One poster can reach a large number of kids over a long period of time.

For community educators and teachers, we offer the Runaway Prevention curriculum designed to help prevent kids from running away. The program comes complete with lesson plans and a 7-minute video. Many schools, Boy/Girls Scout troops, 4-H groups, Boys/Girls Clubs, and other social service agencies are using our program as part of their classroom or outreach efforts. Youth and teachers from across the country say it helps drive home the message to youth that there are options to running away. The best part is the program is free. Download it from our Training & Prevention Section, order it on line, or call us at 1-800-621-4000.
