are very satisfied with the service provided by Friendly Connections,
and it is quite apparent that a lot of effort goes into getting
nzhomestay onto search engines. We are happy with the page design end
the speed with which it loads, the indexing and navigation to the
various separate B&B pages. We are pleased with the prompt service
to make changes to our page and reasonable charges to do so. Also the
very reasonable cost to have our page on the site. Although
I have the technical ability to make my own web site, I prefer to use
the services of Friendly Connections and nzhomestay as the site to which
I refer people on our pamphlets because I do not have the time nor
expertise to get it onto as many search engines as Friendly Connections
have done. The only dispute I have had (minor, but not resolved)
concerns the fact that I also advertise through Friars who agreed to
have nzhomestay as my site on my page on their site provided that
Friendly connections reciprocate. To date Friendly Connections see it as
a disadvantage to reciprocate because of the exposure this would be
giving potential nzhomestay customers (who found the nzhomestay site by
web search) to Friars and their advertisers. If Friars remove nzhomestay
from my page then I may be forced into having my own page. With
regard to the business generated by the nzhomestay site, the ratio of
the value of business to cost of advertising on nzhomestay makes
advertising on the site by far the most effective of our current
advertising. However, because all my pamphlets refer the reader to
nzhomestay it is possible that many of our customers who contact us
through nzhomestay may have been led there reading our pamphlets first
rather than by searching the web or using a search engine." Nzhomestay
is careful only to accept properties which meet their criteria for
quality, I was happy with the manner of their inspection of our property
and I am happy with quality of other properties on the site. They have
also been careful to give effective service by restricting the number of
properties in close proximity to each other. In
summary, we are happy with the service and the results of advertising
with Friendly Connections and would recommend their services to any

Friendly Connections Ltd is well named, as we have come to regard you all as our friends as well as our business associates. Anything I have asked of you has been done as quickly and effectively as possible. Since we joined we have felt the tangible benefits in a 75% increase in our bed nights most of which have been as advance bookings which have enabled us to plan ahead. Today I believe at least 50% of our advance bookings are direct from Friendly Connections Ltd and many of our guests that contact us by email have also found us through the Friendly Connections Ltd website. We received regular feedback on the sites performance and changes to our own advertising can be made as soon as they are needed.
